Lamborghini customers from all over the world fly to new zealand’s southern hemisphere proving grounds to test their skills on the ice
BRIEF
Lamborghini’s agency reached out to us a few months prior to their Lamborghini Esperienza Neve event at The Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds, New Zealand. They briefed us on the event - five days and five waves of global Lamborghini clients experiencing Queenstown and driving Lamborghini Hurácan (Sterrato and Tecnica) and Urus (Performante and S) models on the ice in Cardrona, resulting in the perfect combination of luxury and adrenaline. This was the first time any customer in the world had seen or driven the Lamborghini Sterrato in person.
TEAM
We operated with one cinematographer/drone operator and one photographer, which meant we had to prioritize working efficiently and effectively to capture everything we needed across the busy week, including real time video and photo deliverables while onsite.
EXECUTION
We ran GoPro Hero 11’s on each vehicle to capture interiors of the client’s driving, while car harnesses and the Canon C70 and R5C allowed us to hang out of a vehicle and track the cars flying across the ice. Despite snow storm delays, we were able to create customer experience videos for the clients as a memento of the event, and an overarching event video highlighting the snowy landscapes of Cardrona and the durability of the Lamborghini models in exhilarating conditions.
